This adapter easily screws onto the front of the Canon G10 Digital Camera, allowing you to add 58mm lenses and filters.

I purchased this adapter because several reviews of the Canon adapter weren’t so great. I have found this adapter to be well made and have a very good fit both on the camera and the tele-converter. I have the Canon tele-converter (TC-DC58D). After attaching this adapter to the lens, you can use the lens’ original rear cap on the lens adapter and the entire assembly fits into the bag that came with the TC-DC58D. Very slick. You should also note that the picture is not accurate. The adapter isn’t tapered and it’s a two-part adapter (like the Canon). Although I have no idea why it’s a two-part adapter.

The adapater works fine, however you must use the proper lenses. Previous generation lenses (S21S, S31S) will screw on to the lens but will interfere with the operation of the G10 camera. This is important if you are considering upgrading from the S2is camera. BTW, the G10 has an awesome wide angle and with the 15.4 MP resolution, don’t worry about cropping to pull in the image.
